ENGELHARDT, HAMMER & ASSOCIATES, INC.

Engelhardt, Hammer & Associates, Inc. was founded in the Westshore Area of Tampa, in 1991, by Gary C. Engelhardt, AICP.  The firm soon established a reputation for high quality professional planning services and started to grow with an ever-expanding list of clients.  Ethel D. Hammer joined the firm as a partner in 1993 after a successful planning career in local government followed by ten years as the Director of Planning for a prominent Tampa land use law firm.  By 1995, Engelhardt, Hammer and Associates, Inc., with a staff of twelve, had established itself as the largest land planning firm in the Tampa Bay region.

When founding the firm, Mr. Engelhardt adopted a "boutique" business model philosophy to ensure that the firm did not outgrow its ability to provide high quality services to clients.  A prime tenant of this business philosophy is to maintain a "hands on" involvement in client matters by the key principals and senior level staff.  This business model has guided the firm since 1991 and remains a core value today.

Over the past twenty years, Engelhardt, Hammer and Associates, Inc. has developed close working relationships with other professional services firms in the Tampa Bay region and elsewhere in Florida and involves these firms, as needed, on interdisciplinary projects to meet client needs.  These well-established professional relationships and the practice of working together in interdisciplinary teams gives Engelhardt, Hammer and Associates, Inc. the ability to leverage its own expertise and experience to provide clients with a wide range of services for solving complex assignments.
